Host Your Event at the Fowler Center
Welcome to the Fowler Center, your spectacular new home for community
activity, situated prominently on the Arkansas State University
campus. Named in honor of benefactors Wallace and Jama Fowler, this
grand facility is known throughout the South as a hub for civic,
arts, and community functions.
Fowler Center’s public areas include the Grand Hall, which
can accommodate a reception for up to 650 people or a 200-person
seated dinner, and Riceland Hall, a 975-seat concert hall with a
60-foot-wide stage capable of hosting anything from a full orchestra
and chorus to a single speaker or performer.
Fowler Center also boasts the Drama Theatre, a 342-seat proscenium
theater, where guests are never more than 50 feet from the stage.
Acoustically designed for spoken productions, the theater is equipped
with a 30’-wide screen for multi-media events and has an orchestra
pit with room for approximately 25 musicians.
Arkansas State University’s Bradbury Gallery, a 5,000 square
foot art gallery, is also located in Fowler Center, as is ASU's
Department of Theatre, with an experimental theater capable of seating
200 guests, rehearsal spaces, lighting and sound laboratories, a
scene shop, student and faculty lounges, a reception area and classrooms.
Fowler Center's amenities include ample parking, landscaped grounds
and access for persons with disabilities.
Catering for Fowler Center events is provided by ASU
Dining Services.
